Athos Faccincani was born in Peschiera del Garda in 1951. He began to study painting at age 13, in the studio of Pio Semeghini, then in 1967 - 1969 he attended the Venetian studios of Navati, Gamba and Seibezz. In 1971 he held his first exhibition at the Historical Palace of Peschiera del Garda. He has since successfully exhibitedn and sold his paintings regularly throughout Italy, as well as in Paris, New York, Toronto, Zurich, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, London, Madrid, Los Angeles and Munich.
Faccincani’s paintings are distinctive in their vivid color and broad brushstroke technique. His artistic goal is to show how simple and joyful life can be.
